The Young Scot 5Rights Youth Leadership Group would like your help to pilot their Young Digital Champions programme for 18-26 year-olds!
When and where is it?
Date: Wednesday 30 January
Time: 17.00 – 21.00
Venue: Young Scot offices, Rosebery House, 9 Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh EH12 5EZ
Travel and dinner will be provided!
What is it?
The Young Digital Champions Programme is a new idea for young people around the same age to support each other about digital rights and digital citizenship. It has been designed by the Young Scot 5Rights Youth Leadership Group, and they are now testing their ideas to see how the Scottish Government can roll it out to more young people across Scotland.
What do you need to do?
In this session, the 5Rights Youth Leaders will lead a range of activities to explore with you about fake news, information compromise, and what happens beyond 5Rights.
During this pilot we will be testing the activities led by the Youth Leaders only, so all we expect you to do is just to take part and enjoy! The Youth Leaders will collect feedback from you about how the session has gone. It is important that you give the Youth Leaders your honest feedback for the day – this will help the 5Rights Youth Leaders evaluate how successful the pilot programme has been, and make improvements to it.
If you are interested, please get in touch via 5Rights@young.scot, with the following information:
