Fringe Discounts with Young Scot

It's back! The greatest arts festival in the world, the Edinburgh Fringe, starts today right here in the capital.

This year's festival has over 3,000 events, promising something for everyone. Whether it's music, dance, theatre or comedy, we're sure there's a show to suit every taste. Best of all, lots of the shows are free. So if you've been wanting to try something new, this is the time to do it.

If you're planning on buying tickets for a show, be sure to take your Young Scot card along to get 50% off on selected performances. Don't panic if you're not sure what to see. The city is buzzing with artists, magicians and street performers. It's hard not to be swept up in the festival atmosphere.

The full 2015 programme is available here and features the usual mix of established stars alongside brand new shows and performers. Running at various venues across the city until the end of August, this year's festival is accompanied by the slogan WTFringe. Tickets are available to buy online or from the box office at 180 High Street.
