Staged for Life

Interested in getting trained up in sound & lighting?


Staged for Life is delivering a unique two week training programme teaching young people aged 16–24 how to operate sound and lighting equipment for live events.

Those who complete the course are offered supported work placements at BBC Scotland and the Edinburgh Student Arts Festival to gain meaningful industry experience.

This unique course is free to attend and will run between January 30th - February 10th in an Edinburgh City Centre theatre. Practical and interactive, the course is taught by industry experts and accredited by Edinburgh College.

You will be working with a variety of performers throughout the course to get a real taste of how the industry works. No previous experience is required, just an enthusiasm to learn new skills!
