Spree Festival in Paisley 2021

Come along to Paisleys annual Spree festival this October!

Paisley Spree


Every year Paisley hosts a festival called ‘Spree’ this hosts a variety of different, cultural and comedic acts. Similar to Edinburghs Frige, the spree fest holds a variety of events in different venues around Paisley across the 13th- 22nd October. The different acts include, comedy, music, film and dance. Tickets can be bought from the Spree Website or InCube Shop on Paisleys High Street.




Mad To Be Normal (15)


(From The Spree website) Reveals the story of R.D. Laing, the famous psychiatrist and one of Scotland’s greatest ever minds. Psychiatrist, R.D Laing disagrees with the horrible treatment of psychiatric patients in the 60’s, therefor starts his own therapy based on holistic treatment and group therapy, setting up his own refuge. Starring Paisleys own, David Tennant (Dr Who, Harry Potter) Michael Gambon (Harry Potter) and Elisabeth Moss (Girl Interrupted, Top of the Lake)

The screening will be followed by a discussion on issues raised by the film.

Friday Night Comedy

Every Friday at the Spiegeltent in County Square, will feature 4 scottish comedians for a fun night of comedy.


Tickets are available at the Paisley Arts Centre, Ticketweb, Ticket Scotland and alternatively the Renfrewshire Leisure Box Office



West College Scotland Showcase


Students from West College Scotland perform a showcase to show off the skills learned within the course, this night will showcase a mix of musical styles as well as group and solo performances, also hosted in the Spiegeltent, this night will be a great, fun filled evening for all.
