Renfrewshire: Year of Young People 2018 in Articles
Cheerio 2017 - hello Year of Young People 2018!! The year ahead is going to be exciting and we are getting ready to bring lots of things to you!
As part of its themed years programme, the Scottish Government has made 2018 the Year of Young People! That's right, there's going to be some extra focus on what's great about you guys - the things you know, skills you have, achievements you have made, things that you can do, how you support and help others, and how you help shape our world.
Throughout 2018, there will be programmes running across the country, each area offering something special. There will be new opportunities to influence decision making on issues affecting your life and you can be involved in cultural and sporting opportunities and many others.
In Renfrewshire, Youth Services will be bringing you news and details of what is happening right on this very page, so get it bookmarked! We are working with our fantastic partners to tie together all that is happening, all that is celebrating you as a young Scot. We'll also keep you posted of any National activities you might be interested in and signpost you to other places you can check out Good, eh?
Information is coming here soon - early January 2018 you'll start to see what is happening and we can promise you it will be fantastic. We know you guys are fantastic, you know you are so let's tell everyone. If you've got it flaunt it.
We are looking forward to the year ahead and can't wait to catch up with those of you we already know and also meet those of you we don't.
