
Women in STEM
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics - and these are all subjects we can start learning at school! Young Scot are working with The Scottish Government to improve gender imbalances in participation of STEM courses at college and university. Overall, girls are under-represented in STEM subjects in schools, colleges and universities. Gender stereotypes are a major factor contributing to these imbalances - you have the power to change this!
