So what does the NEC do?

Concessionary Travel for 16-18 year olds

  • 1/3rd off adult single fares on buses all over Scotland
  • A free Scottish Youth Railcard, giving you 1/3rd off train fares
  • Two free return ferry journeys to the mainland if you live on an island

When you apply for your National Entitlement Card you will automatically recive a Concessionary Travel Card.  In the future the buses will have the super duper chipped technology to read your National Entitlement Card but for new your need to go with 2 cards.

  • 200,000 discounts in 42 European countries

PASS (Proof of Age Standards Scheme)

  • The National Entitlement Card also has the PASS hologram on it, meaning it is recognised as an official proof of age card across the UK.

Coming Soon

  • In the Stirling Council area you will eventually be able to use your card to access all Libraries and Leisure facilities. These will be in the near future so keep checking here for updates.
