Our rating:
The "comedy of the summer"... is only so because there's nothing else showing at the cinema. It went on for far too long; the jokes were crude and not very funny; and the general storyline seemed geared for those far older than late-teenagers.
There's a mild twist on the normal rom-com theme in that the main plotline is based on two women fighting over who gets to be the bride's best friend. The male love interest, played by Chris O'Dowd from the IT Crowd was the only mildly redeeming feature, and even his storyline ended up being rather unbelievable.
Overall verdict: don't bother, unless you're 30-40 and generally embittered with life. Even then, you might want to wait for it to be found in the £1 bargain bin.
