You may have heard that one in 4 people in Scotland will experience mental health problems at some point in their lives. But did you know that one in 10 young people in Scotland have mental health problems that need the help of a professional?
See me... is a Scottish campaign that is working to end stigma and discrimination against mental ill-health. Young people today know a lot more about mental health these days but young people with mental health problems are still treated differently.
See me... has found that 40% of young people would not want anyone to know if they had a mental health problem. They have also found that young people with mental health problems are more likely to be ignored by others or bullied.
You can help challenge stigma and discrimination- whether it's at school, at home or with your friends. Why not pledge your support for the See me campaign or Defeat Stigman on See me's new app!
