Review: Julie and Me and Michael Owen Makes Three

In this book we read a 15-year-olds diary and go through the ups and downs of his life. Terry's life is a mixture of football problems with his beloved Manchester United, his Mum and Dad getting a divorce and the love of his life Julie Carter.

Man U have just lost a match when his Dad announces he is divorcing Terry's mum and is leaving. Terry's best friend Bobby tries to help Terry with everything but not everything Bobby says is useful information. When Terry decides he is going to ask out Julie he freaks out and completely forgets to do it. Then Terry finds out that his arch rival John Fitzpatrick (aka. Fitz or Frisky Fitzy) is already going out with Julie! And things aren't looking up for Man U either, the team strugle to win matches and just when things start to look up, things seem to go bad again.

Like I said before Terry supports Man U but he finds out that the one bad thing about Julie is that she supports Liverpool, Man U's arch rivals. But that still doesn't stop Terry!

I won't ruin the story for everyone if people want to read the book but I will ruin the fact that this is an amazing book and I loved it so much and I am going to read it again very soon! I do recomend this book to people but just because this book has football in it and a boy is writing it it doesn't mean this book is for boys. Oh no, this book is for girls too. So please read this book if it interests you because when I was given this book it didn't seem my kind of thing but when I read it I found out it was my type of book! So like they say "Never judge a book by its cover"!
