Migraine Awareness Week 2012

Can you tell the difference between a migraine and a headache?

A migraine is a very painful headache. You usually feel a throbbing pain at the front of your head or at one side. Some people also feel sick and find that light hurts their eyes.

Migraines affect 1 in 7 people in the UK. For some people it can get in the way of their everyday lives. Doctors aren't sure what causes migraines and at the moment there isn't a cure.
