This year's Safer Internet Day was on 7th February. Every year a different theme is chosen to encourage people to use the internet safely. The theme for this year is Connecting Generations- it’s all about exploring the different ways that people use the internet and getting people of different ages to share their knowledge and skills with each other.
How confident do you feel about using the internet? How confident are your parents, grandparents or carers? Do you think you know more than them about the internet? Have you ever thought about sharing what you know?
It’s also important to ask yourself what you know about staying safe online- do you know what to do if you’re being cyberbullied? Or how to keep your personal details safe? Check out our page on Internet Safety for more information.
If you are at school you could think about entering the Scottish Government Safer Internet Competition to get the chance to win a digital Camera.
