Nominations open for Young Scottish Green List 2012

Nominations for the Young Scottish Green List are now closed. Winners will be announced at an Award ceremony at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh on the 13th March.

Do you know someone who deserves recognition for their work on sustainability? Nominate them for the Young Scottish Green List 2012.

The Scottish Green List celebrates the passion, drive and bright ideas of young people (11 – 25) working to make a difference to sustainable development in Scotland.

They could be working, volunteering or campaigning in the area of climate change, energy, community building, education, food and agriculture, waste and recycling, health and wellbeing, transport or inequality.

If you know someone who has made a difference to your community or the environment and created a lasting legacy in sustainable development, make sure they are entered into this year’s nominations.

The judges will be looking for someone who has involved and engaged others in the issue of sustainable development and caused a real change because of their actions.

Nominations are being sought from people across the country. If you would like to nominate someone for an award please download and fill in the Nomination Form below and return to Kelly Johnstone at kelly.johnstone@ksbscotland.org.uk.

Nominations must be returned by 31st January 2012. Winners will be announced at an award ceremony in late February.

If you know of someone who deserves recognition who is over 25 then they can be entered in the Scottish Green List, the award for people of all ages.
