Unfortunately I was not impressed at all by The Swellers new album ‘Good For Me’.
The first five tracks, for me, were terrible. Far too fast and loud, was all a bit manic really. The rest of the tracks on the album seemed to be a bit more sedate and toned down but were rather boring and long winded for me.
Nothing jumped out at me from this album. None of it was my cup of tea and I will admit I did tend to skip through the tracks once they get to the half-way point as they seemed repetitive and I started to switch off after a while.
As you have probably guessed it is not an album I will be recommending to anyone. Never the less, if you think this would be your kind of music do not let me put you off listening to it, there has got to be some people out there that will like it!
