The National Conversation
The Scottish Government asked Young Scot to consult with young people to see what they thought about Scotland and its future. This was part of the National Conversation, where the Government asks everyone in Scotland what they think about the future of the country. There are lots of different views on how Scotland should be run in the future, but the important thing is that they all count.
Young Scot held a consultation last year and 5,200 of you took part in the survey alone. There were also local investigation teams across Scotland with young people talking to people in their communities about the issues. They all came together at a National Discussion Day held in Edinburgh in November 2008.
