Elected members and Young People have been coming together over the year to discuss important issues that young people are facing when in care and leaving care.
The first event took place in April and was very successful in making the young people's voices heard to the elected members and changing the way in which their views & experiences can have more of a say in the decision making process.
The second event took place on Monday 19th December focusing on the chistmas theme and allowing the young people and elected members to discuss keys areas in more depth.
Events are due to take place yearly where the young people and elected members can touch base and discuss further issues of young people in care and after care.
