Whats the D.of.E.?  Duke of Edinburgh Awards....Have you ever wondered what it means....well it's about the activities young people might enjoy taking part in and it'll help you get more out of life!!! so don't be bored and say there's nothing to do.

South Ayrshire Council's Youth Strategy launch was a great success and very well supported with young people representing Ayrshire's secondary schools. Information was available from partners in Leisure, Step,Community Safety,MSYP,MV Awards and many more. The Council has produced this Strategy because it wants to support young people to 'be the best they can be'

Key points are : to give young people a voice - enable them to influence the delivery of services that affect them - benefit from youth work services that make a real difference to their lives - supported by youth workers who can help them achieve positive outcomes in their own lives and those of their communities.
