Sportworx is a youth development programme involving sports and dance coach training.
Our programmes focus on long term goals and help participants identify something positive to work towards. For most of the young people involved, completing a Sportworx programme gives them the foundation to get into college or start work.
We work with more than 300 young leaders a year, with more than 1000 voluntary hours carried out. Recent achievements include:
- 5 core programmes and 36 junior programmes
- 98 graduates from core programmes and 280 qualifications gained
- National Lottery Awards Runner-up for Best Sports Project’
- £77,000 of external funding
- Sportworx apprenticeship programme
- launch of Urban Soccer
