Latest Info on the Young Scot NEC Card
As you will be aware, the Young Scot Card has transformed into the FAB new Young Scot NEC Card. Not only has this card had a revamp to its look, it also offers lots more!
Many people have been in contact with us about when they will be getting their card. If you have put in an application for a card - it takes around 3/4 weeks to the card to reach you. If your card is lost or stolen, please get in contact with us on 01236 812586 and we can get a new card issued.
If you are not at school and would like the new Young Scot NEC Card or find out more about it (Remember, you can get a card until you are 26 years young!), please get in contact.
North Lanarkshire MSYPs
Did you know that North Lanarkshire has 9 MSYPs covering each Scottish Parliament constituency? If you are aged 12 - 25, you have a representative in the SYP! To get in contact with your MSYP, please contact the Young Scot NL office or click on the link above to find out who the MSYPs are and how to get in contact with them directly!
MSYPs attend meetings of the Scottish Youth Parliament which happen all around Scotland.
In 2009, over 13,000 young people voted in the SYP Elections in North Lanarkshire. The new candidates take office in June 2009 and more information will follow.

We are looking for young people who attend the matches of the North Lanrkshire sides to post match reports of the games involving their local teams. Any young people interested can become the correspondent for their local side and if required will be given training, so if you've been to a game of two halves, or been as sick as a parrot when the best team didn't win, then get in touch.
