Since the beginning of the session in August, the Company and Senior Sections (P7 – S6) have taken part in a variety of exciting events.
They participated in a number of local and national events. Most notably, the Junior football team has won the first two of the local tournaments!
More recently, the young guys took on the challenge of the local badminton and table tennis events -winning the team badminton prize. Scot Nicol won the Under 13 table tennis competition and Aarron Getty picked up the winners medal for the Under 13 badminton competition.
Perhaps the highlight of the last few months would have to be the visit to the International Rally Championship’s Rally of Scotland. At dusk, in the woods surrounding the Carron Valley reservoir, the young folks enjoyed the adrenaline- pumping atmosphere. Lights approaching, noises of engines intensifying and cars roaring past made for a very exciting experience!
The young people at 3rd Bearsden are already looking forward to a return to what is surely the highlight in Scotland’s motor sporting calendar!
