New Cards

All new S1 pupils will have been offered the National Entitlement Card at their primary school before leaving P7. If you miss this, or you are not in school, you can get an application form by:

  • Phoning Dumfries & Galloway Council on 030 33 33 3000
  • Phoning our Young Scot Infoline on 0808 801 0338
  • Emailing us at info@youngscot.org
  • Picking one up from a local validation point (see below)

You will need to complete the application form and take it to one of the validation points along with the relevant identification.

Replacement Cards

If you have lost your card or need a replacement please call Dumfries & Galloway Council on 030 33 33 3000 or e-mail NEC@dumgal.gov.uk (please ensure you include your name, address, date of birth and reason for replacement).

You can request a photo upgrade at one of the validation points.
