Youth Bytes

Youth Bytes brings youth services to young people who live in the most rural parts of Angus.

Young people who normally have little or no access to youth services, projects and youth workers for support, guidance and advice can benefit from this mobile resource.

The following services can be accessed on Youth Bytes:

- Laptops with broadband internet access
- National and local information, support and advice
- The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Angus
- Angus Youth Action
- Health Drop-Ins
- Nintendo Wii games console
- National Entitlement Card (Young Scot Card)

Youth Bytes provides lunchtime health drop-ins, with Young People's Health Workers during school term-time at the following locations:

Mondays - 1-2pm: Forfar (Bankhead Road)
Tuesdays - 1-2pm: Kirriemuir (Prosen Road)
Wednesdays - 1-2pm: Brechin (Co-op car park) or Montrose (opposite Sports Centre) on alternating weeks
Thursdays - 1-2pm: Arbroath (McDonald Park)
Fridays - 1-2pm: Carnoustie (school bus bay) or Monifieth (Panmurefield Road) on alternating weeks (12.45-1.45pm at Monifieth)

Youth Bytes will be in the following locations to provide activities, opportunities to get involved and information sessions during the evenings throughout May:

Tuesdays: Edzell (Park), 6.30-8.30pm

Wednesdays: Montrose (Skate Park), 5.30-7.30pm (2nd, 16th, 30th)

Thursdays: Wellbank (Village Hall), 5-7pm (10th, 24th)
