If you want to find out more about the National Entitlement Card (NEC) then go to www.youngscot.org/smartcards. It's worth finding out more and getting your hands on a NEC card if you are 16, 17 or 18 (or a full-time volunteer aged 19-25) as you get lots of different discounts.

Travel Scheme for Young People

This scheme offers all 16-18 year olds concessionary travel on buses, rail and ferries (where applicable).  Holders of this travel card can save one-third off the adult single fare on almost all scheduled local registered and long-distance bus services available to the public.
