Arts
Welcome to the Arts Channel
If you write poetry, make jewellery, are a member of a youth theatre, DJ at weekends or like visiting art galleries, playing the guitar or go to dance classes then you are taking part in the arts...
According to Wilkipedia, the online encyclopedia, the term ‘the arts’ is:-
'a broad subdivision of culture comprised of many expressive disciplines. In modern usage it is a broader term than ‘art’ which usually means specifically visual art.'
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
All over Scotland there are arts centres, arts projects and skilled people to help you follow up on your interests, develop your talents, and help you to find out more and get started. There’s practical help, training, support and equipment to borrow – it’s all out there, you’ve just got to track it down.
If you're interested in getting involved in the arts but aren't sure where to begin, then you've come to the right place!
