What is the Children and Young People Bill?
All children and young people in Scotland have rights, and a number of services working to look after you and make sure you're doing well, for example in health, education and social care. Additionally, the Scottish Government and local councils have developed guidance and best practice for working with children and young people.
The Scottish Government is currently thinking about whether they should combine these rights, duties and some of this guidance into one set of laws - The Children and Young People Bill.
It's vital that your voices are listened to about the creation of this Bill as it could have a direct effect on the services you receive, and in some cases a big and noticeable one. Scottish Government has asked Young Scot and the Scottish Youth Parliament to find out what you think of some of their proposals.
