The Twilight Sad - The Room

The Room is a slowly growing song that starts off simply, with just a piano riff, a bass drum and lead singer James Graham's vocals, and only gets louder and louder and also darker sounding. This is great music, reminiscent of some of Biffy Clyro's darker tunes. You could accuse it of being repetative, but to do so would be missing the entire point; it starts off with a simple foundation and builds and builds and builds upon it until you have a great song. The B-Side to this single, 'The Neighbours Can't Breathe (Acoustic)' is also good if not quite as large or epic as The Room. This is partially due to the acoustic nature of the track, which, while making it seem a little less grand, does allow for a more intimate track than the less personal The Room.
