Information
The human body is an amazing thing. Think about all that's going on in there- different organs working together, the heart pumping blood around the body, new cells being produced every minute- and that's just what is going on under your skin. Look at what you put it through on a daily basis too!
To keep everything ticking along we need to make sure we look after our body. So to help you along the way there's the Young Scot Health: Feeling Good Channel.
Feeling good is about much more than simply not being ill, or knowing where to get treatment when you need it. It's more about feeling happy with yourself - mentally and physically - handling stress, and feeling good about yourself generally. It's as much to do with your mind as your body!
In the Health: Feeling Good Channel you can get information about the big topics such as drinking, smoking, drugs, and sexual health. But it doesn't stop there. There's also useful info on how to keep yourself mentally fit and well, how to deal with bullying, and how to eat yourself healthy. It's not all carrots and tofu you know!
You can also get the info you need to stay in control of how you feel, and cope with life in a positive way. Find out how you can build confidence by feeling and looking your best.
Naturally the Channel is littered with useful health contacts and websites to help too.
Young Scot InfoLine - If you have a question or want more information on anything to do with your health and well-being, phone the Young Scot InfoLine on 0808 801 0338 (Monday to Friday 10am - 6pm). It's FREE to call - that includes from your home phone and your mobile.
