If you want to find out a bit about drugs and their side-effects then this is the section for you!

By the age of 13 most young people in Scotland have been offered drugs. It is important that you have an awareness and understanding of what drugs are, their effects, and reasons why some people choose to accept that take them.

No matter how they try no-one can force you to take drugs. It can be difficult if others and friends are putting pressure on you, but you can choose to say no. Most young people do.

Drugs are part of our culture, whether we like it or not. Of course, there are socially acceptable and legal drugs such as alcohol and tobacco. However, illegal drugs such as cannabis and heroin have become more part of our society.
