Welcome To The Natural Environment Channel

"The difference between animals and humans is that animals change themselves for the environment, but humans change the environment for themselves" - Ayn Rand.

Young people are becoming more and more concerned about the environment and green issues. And rightly so! After all it's your future on this planet we're talking about...

You can play your part in looking after the planet by taking some simple action everyday - and getting your family, friends, school, or youth club to do the same.

In a vote, 81% of you told us that you were worried about global warming, so we thought we'd create a whole new Natural Environment channel to explore the topic a bit further.

Here's what you can find in this section:

TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

"Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realise we cannot eat money" - Native American Cree Indian Proverb

If you want to watch a good introduction to being environmentally friendly, check out this award-winning film made by pupils at Gairloch High School for Friends of the Earth.
