Who Is Young Scot?
Heard the name? Seen all the great discounts on offer? But who is this Young Scot that you've all heard about?
Young Scot is the 'national youth information and citizenships charity' which in a nutshell means we give young people aged 11 - 26 lots of information to help with the important decisions in their life. We also let young people know about all the great things available in their local area, as well as in Scotland, in Europe and beyond.
As a Young Scot here's what's on offer to you....
Young Scot NEC Card
You can get a free Young Scot National Entitlement Card (NEC). This is what you can use to get great discounts locally, nationally, and in Europe - useful if you're going on school trips or on holidays. You can get discounts in 1,350 shops and outlets in Scotland and at over 100,000 places in 41 European countries. It's your ticket to a bargain bonanza! Your Young Scot card can save you money on fashion and entertainment, but it can also help you to take advantage of other opportunities at a cheaper price - for example on cultural excursions and artistic outings. Find out more about how you can save money by going to the Young Scot discounts section.
Not only that, but in many local authorities your Young Scot NEC can be used to let you into libraries, get you cheaper leisure facilities, cashless catering at school and even online voting. Most Young Scot cards now also have the PASS hologram which means you can use them to prove your age - it just keeps getting better doesn't it?! Find out more about PASS by going to the Young Scot Law Channel.
Young Scot Books
